Our In-House Procedures
Dental Implants — Dental implants consist of a small titanium post that is placed into the jawbone, acting as a root for a custom-made crown. Implants look, feel, and function like natural teeth, making them a popular option for restoring your smile. With proper care, dental implants can last for many years while blending in beautifully with the rest of your teeth.
Implant-Supported Dentures — Implant-supported dentures offer a more secure and comfortable alternative to traditional dentures. These dentures attach to dental implants placed in the jaw, providing added stability when chewing, speaking, or smiling. They are ideal for patients who want a full arch replacement without the worry of shifting or slipping.
Soft-Tissue Grafts — A soft-tissue graft is a procedure used to treat receding gums or to improve the appearance of the gumline. It involves taking a small amount of tissue, usually from the roof of the mouth, and placing it where gum tissue has worn away. This helps protect the roots of the teeth, reduce sensitivity, and restore a healthier, more even smile.
Dental Extractions — While we want our patients to keep their natural teeth whenever possible, dental extractions are sometimes necessary when a tooth is too damaged or decayed to be saved. Our team ensures that the procedure is as gentle and comfortable as possible, using local anesthesia and sedation if needed.

Can I add dental sedation to my appointment?
While all of our surgical procedures use local anesthetic to numb the teeth and gums, some patients find it helpful to utilize additional sedation methods. We offer two common types: nitrous oxide and oral conscious sedation. Nitrous oxide, also known as laughing gas, is a mild sedative inhaled through a mask, while oral conscious sedation involves taking a prescribed pill before your appointment. Your comfort and safety are our top priority, and we would be glad to address any specific questions or concerns you may have.

Recovery after oral surgery depends on the type of procedure, but most patients can expect mild swelling, discomfort, and limited activity for the first few days. Sticking to soft foods, avoiding straws, and keeping the area clean will help promote healing. Most patients begin to feel better within a week, with full healing taking a few weeks to a few months. Our team will provide specific instructions based on you and your treatment plan, and we also recommend that patients visit our patient instructions page as well.
